Google Analytics is a web analytics tool to give you in-depth information about the visitors on your website. Once you add the tracking ID & tracking code to your Showit website, it will start gathering data on visitor behaviour on your site.
Google Analytics is a beast of a website analytics tool but when you’re just starting out what you need to know is that Google Analytics is like a snapshot of what’s happening on your website. You can learn the behaviour of your website visitors, where they’re coming from, how long they spend browsing your website, what page made them drop off.
If you’re just starting out, it may seem overwhelming. It doesn’t have to be! You can use as little or as much of the platform as you want. So if you’re at the stage where you know you need to have it but don’t have the time to dedicate to it, That’s OK! Add Google Analytics to your website now, and then when you’re ready to dive into your account will have tons of data about your website.
If you’re at all interested in seeing how your site is performing and how your SEO or ads are working, Google Analytics is the best way to measure that performance. You can take the guesswork out of your website when you can see which of your pages are performing the best, and which get the most amount of drop off. Then you can focus on fixing the pages that aren’t working, to convert more of your visitors to leads.
