I’m fine at parties! I just stand in the middle of the room and don’t say anything”. I think Rosa Diaz from Brooklyn 99 is my spirit animal. We have a very similar tough exterior. Those that know us will see us warm up a bit and smile. Our feelings are written all over our faces. And I have a RBF that could kill. So expect a lot more sarcasm, lots of movie quotes (like lots of them), some swearing mixed in with lots of awesome website, coaching, design and SEO tips. If you’re ready for it well buckle up for this awesome ride.
This is me. I am sarcastic, talk in movie quotes and have a killer RBF. I would wear flip flips all year long if it didn't rain so much in Vancouver.
I'm addicted to Disneyland... and my family loves that I am!
This kid keeps my days interesting. Full of laughter, hugs, goofballs, kisses and What just happened moments!

This kid keeps my brain sharp & my heart full.
This is the love of my life. We were married June 1, 2007. and have had quite the amazing adventure since. This photo totally doesn't fit with the rest of the style of photos of my site, but it's my favourite photo of ours taken recently. So oh well.
This is me during a brand shoot. I love working with other creative entrepreneurs to get them beautiful curated photos for the website and social media.

This is the house plant that literally jumped off the shelf so it wouldn't have to go home with me.
My passport is always ready for a new adventure, with the family, a destination wedding or conference!
There is a long roundabout story that got me to where I am today. It started in 2003 a week before I graduated from college, valedictorian of my class, no job and no plans for the future. Scrambling as a soon to be graduate knowing that I wanted to be a part of a new wave, the way of business in the future. That was when I received a phone call, I got a job I had interviewed for a week before. I was going to be a website developer!
I have always been quick and good at what I did, and hated sitting in an office staring outside day dreaming. This was also pre-Facebook time, so the only way I could waste my time was reading business books and learning SEO. I knew nothing about business, and nothing about being my own boss. I just new that I was good at what I was doing, and I was bored out of my mind. I always thought, how can I love what I do, and hate being at my job at the same time? The answer was that I needed to get out and be my own boss. It was super scary, but I was 24 years old, what better time to take wild changes than in your early 20s? My business grew and I was thrilled with my success, but I wasn't ready for the countless hours that I was working.
So I did what anyone in their 20s would do, I closed my business and I moved to the Caribbean! I lived in the Cayman Islands for exactly 3 years (to the day!), with my husband. This is where I fell in love with photography. I worked for a real estate company and started shooting properties and branding. I was however excited to get back to Vancouver and open my own business again. In 2008 this became a reality, we moved back to Vancouver and I opened my photography business, and I went on to shoot lifestyle portraits and weddings for over 10 years.
I am excited that my love of design and my creative heart has brought me back to website design and branding. I am so happy to be work with Showit to help creative female entrepreneurs put their best work forward in their online home.

There is nothing I love more than a lazy weekend morning where I can just hang with the boys. A good cup of coffee, warm fireplace and PJs till after lunch!
FAMILY & LAZY WEEKENDS
It doesn't matter what type of mood I'm in flowers will always lift my spirits.
I love trying new cocktails and experimenting at home with new gluten free cocktail recipes. Moscow Mule, Mojitos, Sangria, I love adding fresh fruits and herbs to my drinks.
You don't spend three years in one place if you haven't fallen in love with it. It's been years since I've moved back but I still think about the amazing beaches daily.
I love pretty things, journals, calendars, paper clips, pens, little dishes. Anything that will make a pretty photo for Instagram!
I love trying new coffee shops, new roasts and bringing new amazing flavours home. My favourite at the moment is 49th Parallel Coffee roasted right here in Vancouver.
